Adoptables are designs that you can purchase for your personal use or, in specific cases, for commercial use. They can be animals, humans, objects... Anything can be turned into an adoptable!

what exactly am i buying?
You're adopting the design itself, not the colours, not the art, just the character design. You are basically adopting the right to use the character as a whole, species + design/pattern.
Commissions are paid requests, and adoptables is like going to a store and buying characters!

Commissions: the clients asks and pays for a character/picture first, describing what they want, and then it is drawn by the seller.

Adoptables: the characters are already drawn by the seller, and the clients buy the characters they like.
Difference with commissions

Custom: A character you order. Usually colour design and accessories are fully customizable/editable but the base can be the same.

Gacha: (Gacha, gachapon, gasha or gashapon adopts) are, as the name says, inspired by gacha machines! - the ones you put a coin in and get a surprise toy in a capsule. And they can vary a lot! You can be offered different options - for example, 100% surprise where you can choose gender and species, etc. These are really fun to do and are awesome for people who can't decide themselves!

MYO: Make-your-Own, means that you can create your own (by drawing it) character of that species/breed. MYOs are usually obtained by paying for one or through participating in contests.

YCH: Your-Character-Here, basically a commission/custom with a pre-set pose. There is a mannequin, either alone or with another mannequin, in a pre-set pose, which is not editable, and you can ask for your character to be placed there.

When buying from me, you're accepting these terms, so please make sure you read and understand these!
- I reserve all rights to the original artwork of the design, including publishing it on my other platforms, portfolio, or any other promotional use. -
Payment

Payment must be made within 48 hours after your commission was accepted, or I will assume you have backed out (unless notified otherwise). The adopt will be put back up for sale.

Upfront payment only, via paypal.

Payment plans can be negotiated for payments equal or over $150USD (50/50 payment).
Adopts

I will not hold or reserve adopts unless you are a frequent and trusted customer.

For CUSTOMS: you can find examples below for the bases. You're free to choose a color palette and edit patterns, clothing or even add some details. The bases are pre-made and you can choose the one you'd like your design to use. Since these are supposed to take shorter time than normal commissions, you cannot make any edits. These adopts can take from 1-3 days, depending on my timetables. But other than that, they usually are done within 24hs.

You can give the adopt a name, a personality, alternate clothes and gender.

Edits: If you wish to make edits yourself to the adoptable's design please do not edit over my art. You must draw it yourself. -You do not have to notify me of any design edits, but please still credit me for the original design.

Credits: You don't have to credit me every time as the designer, but please just don't claim it as yours or say you've made it if you have not. It's not nice :(

Trading/Selling: You're free to do what you want with your new adopt, change it, re-design it, trade it, etc. All i ask is that, if you plan on selling it, it should not resemble the original design i did.
Refunds
For adopts i usually don't accept refunds, but if there is an emergency I do allow refunds if the conditions below are met:

The unwatermarked file has NOT been delivered to the buyer yet.

Please note the refund will equal the amount I have actually received, after paying the paypal fees.
(For example: If you send $15 and I receive $13, the full refund will be $13.

Gacha-Adopts
It's a hybrid between a custom and a premade adopt!
You can buy an 'egg' and depending on which one you buy, you may customize some aspects of the adopt...or leave it to me for a surprise!
